The installation of the third phase of the Cukrovar residential project in Trnava brings a striking visual climax in the form of a large-format 3D artwork mounted directly onto the facade of the new building. This exterior relief seamlessly continues the narrative of the project's previous phases, where similar artworks were situated in the interiors, specifically within the residential lobbies. The central motif of the piece is the railway, which historically played a crucial role in transporting raw materials and products during the sugar factory’s operation. The artistic concept thus sensitively bridges contemporary architecture with the city's industrial heritage. The execution itself was carried out with a strong emphasis on technical precision and material harmony. Both the selection of materials and their final surface treatment were chosen to fully respect the character of the facade while ensuring long-term durability in demanding exterior conditions. The overall visual style is modern with a touch of brutalism, directly referencing the site's industrial past. The assembly process required the use of lifting equipment and precise mapping of anchoring points according to a prepared template, ensuring the relief segments formed a perfect compositional whole. The result is a monumental element that serves not just as an aesthetic accessory, but as a bearer of the location's identity. The relief grants the new building a unique character while maintaining the clean lines and elegance characteristic of this type of modern development.
